Integrated Media Production SOP

From "Audio Backbone" to Web, Video & Distribution
The Core Philosophy: We operate on an "Audio-First" model. A single high-quality Mantra recording is the "Backbone." From this backbone, we derive the Video (YouTube), the Web Content (Site), and the Distribution Album (Spotify).

1. Roles & Concepts

The Architect

Media Planner

Decides what gets made and when. Maintains the Content Calendar. Determines if a recording is just for the website or a full YouTube production.

The Blueprint

Script Writer

Drafts the text not just for reading, but for metadata. Includes the Intro, the Sanskrit Sloka (for subtitles), and the Meaning (for web text).

The Visual Plan

Storyboarder

Visualizes the sound. Decides if the video needs Lyrical Scrolling (Karaoke style) or Stock Footage (Nature/Temples) based on the audio mood.

Quality Control

Content Editor

The Guardian of Validity. Checks Sanskrit pronunciation (Audio), Swara markings (Subtitles), and Sampradaya accuracy (Meaning).

2. The Production Lifecycle (Hub & Spoke)

1

Pre-Production

Input: Media Planner selects a Mantra/Topic.

Action: Script Writer prepares the "Master Doc" containing:
1. Intro Text
2. Sanskrit Text (Devanagari + Transliteration)
3. English/Telugu Translation.

2

Production (The Hub)

Action: Scholar records audio using Dolby On (WAV format).

Processing:
Clean: Use Descript (Studio Sound).
Edit: Remove gaps/repetitions.
Master: Use Auphonic (-14 LUFS).

Output: The Master Audio File (.wav)

3

The Branching Point (Spokes)

The Master Audio now feeds three distinct channels simultaneously:

Path A: Distribution
(Spotify/Apple)
Upload Master Audio to DistroKid.
Use Script for Metadata.
Req: Album Art.
Path B: Web Presentation
(VedaVishtaram.in)
Embed Audio Player at top.
Paste Sanskrit/Meaning text below.
Add Download Link.
Path C: Video Gen
(YouTube/Reels)
Import Audio to Vizard/Pictory.
Sync Subtitles from Script.
Apply Storyboard visuals.

3. Directions & Standards

Audio Standards

  • Format: WAV (Lossless) for Master, MP3 (320kbps) for Web.
  • Silence: Exact 3.0 seconds buffer at Start and End.
  • Tone: Meditative, steady pace. No handling noise.
  • QC: Content Editor must verify Pronunciation before mastering.

Video Standards

  • Text: Font size must be readable on Mobile (Min 40pt).
  • Swaras: Vedic Accents must be preserved in subtitles.
  • Aesthetic: Use Brand Colors (#8B0000). Avoid flashy transitions.
  • Visuals: Satvik imagery (Nature, Temples, Lamps).

Web Presentation

  • Layout: Audio Player is always the first element (Sticky if possible).
  • Typography: Sanskrit text in large, distinct font.
  • Navigation: "Next/Previous Mantra" links must be visible.
  • Download: Offer PDF of the Script for students.
